Katniss and Peeta race for the Cornucopia to avoid the alpha mutt and its pack in this original storyboard from the award-winning 2012 feature film The Hunger Games! The films, based off the hugely popular book series by Suzanne Collins that explored the post-apocalyptic nation of Panem, followed Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) as she volunteered for the barbaric Hunger Games to save her sister. This color pencil, pen, and brush pen storyboard follow Katniss and Peeta's race for survival and start at the scene at roughly 2:08:18 when they hear Thresh being killed by the beasts. It is created by legendary artist Dino Athanassiou, who served as an animation director for the visual effects on the film. The storyboard sheet is signed by the artist !
